Community Event to Offer Voter Registration, Family Fun Day Events, Celebrity Basketball Game, Food, Vendors and More
Young Jeezy, The National Lighthouse Foundation, and The Core DJs, will present the MetroPlex Atl Community Outreach Weekend at the MetroPlex Compound located at 1959 Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30315 from May 18-20, 2012.
To kick off the weekend The Core Dj’s Tony Neal will host an 80’s/90’s Skating Party starting at 10:00 pm on Friday. Saturday’s Family Fun Day is $3 per person and will include live entertainment, skating, bowling, video games, food and more. Also on Saturday, is the Celebrity Basketball game with djs and celebrities vs. artists and producers coached by former NBA players Derek Anderson and Derrick Coleman. The game will feature a Trayvon Martin presentation at halftime. In preparation for the upcoming elections, event guests will there will be voter registration and education stations throughout the facility. The weekend will wrap up Sunday afternoon with a community cookout.
